TAX SHELTER STAGE ARTS
Tax Shelter for the audiovisual sector has been extended to the performing arts with the aim of encouraging companies to invest in performing arts. The advantage is that extra investments are made for stage productions of arts organizations. Companies that invest in a recognized European podium work can get a tax exemption thanks to the Tax Shelter. The amount of the investment is included in a framework agreement between investor and production house. In exchange for the investment, the investor receives a Tax Shelter certificate upon completion of the work, required to obtain the final tax exemption.
WHAT DOES THE EXPANSION OF TAX SHELTER TO STAGE ARTS MEAN?
It is a tax exemption for companies that invest in a European stage or theater work. A production house can collect resources itself, but can also call on an intermediary. Such an intermediary is called an intermediary. Intermediaries charge a commission. In practice, many producers of audiovisual works work with an intermediary.More about Tax Shelter
