‘All things go, all things go’

busy with pavement chalk

a hand that pulls you away

being rejected

the sound of feet on a gravel path

hitchhiking to the south France

Christmas with the family

big kids big worries

or how do they say it

A pot of food from your mother

paying taxes

a failed impulse purchase

making a pot of food for your mother

the smell of a morgue

staying behind alone

Where the time goes is the second part of a trilogy* in which Elena looks at the hands through which a human life passes. In this performance, her narrative voice changes shape. Assisted by a group of musicians and a visual artist, she gives a theatrical concert. Together, they sing and conquer that bit between birth and death. Life in its purest form; brutal, raw, clean.

The trilogy consists of birth - life - death. *You don't need to have seen the first production ‘Begin’.
